The Cutting Edge of Care Delivery

Gregory Kearns, Kevin Byrne, Kim Roddy, Michael Winlo, Matthew Mishkind

Did you know that the earliest known stone lighthouse that resembled structures we know today, the Lighthouse of Alexandria, dates to 280- 247 B.C.? Imagine that! A design so good, it has been replicated the world over – serving as a quintessential “beacon of safety” for over 2,000 years. As psychedelic health care moves forward, clinics will be on the front lines of delivering treatment at scale. We are still in the early days of defining clinical care models – and yet, we have an opportunity to ask ourselves: what are the fundamental building blocks that must be part of a delivery system that aims to offer high quality, safe, effective, and accessible psychedelic care– in a manner that will truly stand the test of time. This panel features leaders operating at the cutting edge of care delivery who are designing and operating clinical programs within academic and private research settings, behavioral health centers, clinic networks, and integrated care models. During the session, you’ll hear how they are thinking about the fundamental building blocks that should be incorporated into the design of any good clinical offering. You’ll learn how they are building spaces, systems, and teams equipped to meet patient needs—and the lessons that are emerging from early implementation.
