Passing a bill is just the beginning. In Oregon, launching the nation’s first legal psilocybin program required ongoing collaboration, creativity, and compromise. Colorado has had the opportunity to learn from Oregon’s process, seeking strategies to further integrate with health systems and keep costs down. In this panel, four leaders across Oregon and Colorado reflect on their efforts to adapt, challenge, and change the rules in real time. We’ll share successes, roadblocks, and insights for other states poised to follow. This is policy in motion—and we’re still writing it.
