The Palestinian Experience: Healing, Identity and Resilience

Jenny Farhat, Rawan Roshni, Chloe Nahas, Kamal Abu-Shamsieh, Sani Karam

This panel brings together voices from research, clinical practice, community activism, and theology to explore the interconnected dimensions of trauma, healing, and resilience in the context of the Palestinian experience. Each panelist will speak from their unique lens—scientific, psychosocial, spiritual, and grassroots—while weaving together shared themes of land, identity, belonging, and collective well-being. The goal is to engage in a reflective dialogue on how to support healing in ways that are contextually grounded, culturally relevant, and ethically attuned.
