State Policy Reform: A Vision for Expanding Access to Psychedelics

Graham Boyd

Recent ballot victories in Oregon and Colorado provide a model for educating voters and approving laws that enable broad access to psychedelics. State legislatures are showing unprecedented openness and interest in psychedelic policy, too. We have a window of opportunity to make significant advances in the psychedelic policy reform movement and enable access to healing for millions of people across the United States. Since 2010, Graham Boyd has led winning efforts to reform drug policies in more than a dozen states and overseen opinion research projects on voter views about drug policy reform. In this presentation, Graham will discuss the current psychedelic policy landscape, how states have become laboratories of experimentation and learning, and why it’s crucial that we continue propelling these efforts forward.
